ABOUT LITTLE BOMBS

What is Little Bombs?
Little Bombs is a bath time brand for kids, packed with handmade bath bombs, Bathtime Shakers and shower steamers that make every bath a little more colourful.

It all started when Caitlyn, our Little CEO, decided at 7 years old that she wanted her very own business. With Mom and Dad cheering her on (and helping out), she’s learning what it really takes to run a business, from mixing and making to packing orders, chatting to customers at markets, and figuring out how the numbers work.

Are your bath bombs really handmade?
Every single one! Our bath bombs are made by hand in small batches right here in Pretoria.

Because they’re handmade, no two are exactly alike. You might spot a slightly different shade, shape or texture, and we think that’s what makes each Little Bomb special. No boring factory clones here!

What do you sell?
Lots of fun stuff, including:

BATH BOMBS

What goes into your bath bombs?
All our bath bombs share the same recipe. Only the fragrance and colour change. Here’s what goes into the fizz:

Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA), Epsom Salt, Citric Acid, Sweet Almond Oil, Water, Fragrance Oil, Bath Salt Dye, Cornstarch.

Allergy note: our bath bombs contain sweet almond oil, which is a tree nut.

Do you use harsh chemicals?
Nope! We use cosmetic ingredients made specifically for bath and body products. You won’t find any harsh household cleaning chemicals in our recipes.

Are Little Bombs suitable for kids?
They’re made with family bath time in mind! Just remember, little ones should always use bath products with a grown-up nearby. Keep the fizz away from eyes, and stop using if any irritation happens.

Toy bath bombs need a little extra supervision, since they contain a separate toy. Our bath bombs aren’t suitable for hot tubs or jacuzzis.

Will a bath bomb stain my bath?
Our bath bombs are made to rinse away, but some of our brighter colours can leave a temporary tint on certain bath surfaces. The easy fix? Give your bath a quick rinse after bath time instead of letting the colourful water dry. The oils can make the tub a little slippery too, so rinsing helps with that as well.

Will the colour stain skin?
Some colour may hang around on skin for a little bit, especially with darker or extra-bright shades. A quick wash with normal soap and water sorts it right out.

How do I use a bath bomb?
The fun part! Run a warm bath, drop in your Little Bomb, and watch it fizz, swirl and colour the water. 🛁

Let it dissolve completely before hopping out, and give the bath a quick rinse afterwards.

How should I store my bath bombs?
Bath bombs are a bit like gremlins: keep them away from water until it’s time! Store them somewhere cool and dry, away from humidity and direct sunlight.

Moisture can set off the fizz early, and nobody wants a flat bath bomb.

How long do bath bombs last?
For the biggest fizz and best smell, use them within 3 to 6 months and store them properly. Because they’re handmade, freshness and storage really do make a difference.

TOY BATH BOMBS

What’s a Toy Bath Bomb?
It’s a bath bomb with a bonus! Each one hides a 3D printed toy inside, so once the fizz is finished, there’s a little friend waiting for you.

Our current toy crew includes LoveBug, Tentacle Treasure, Fishy Friend, Toad-aly Awesome, Ice Dragon and Sunny Seahorse.

Can I choose which toy I get?
Yes! Each toy bath bomb is sold by its toy design, so you know exactly which character you’re getting. Just pick your favourite when you order (subject to availability).

Are the toys bath toys?
The toy is a separate little buddy that comes out once the bath bomb has dissolved.

Toys are not meant to be swallowed, so young children should always play with them under adult supervision. Please follow any age or safety information that comes with the toy.

SHOWER STEAMERS

What are shower steamers?
Think of them as bath bombs for the shower! As water hits them, they slowly dissolve and fill your shower with lovely fragrance.

They’re not bath bombs though, so please don’t pop them in the bath unless the product says you can.

How do I use a shower steamer?
Place it on the floor of your shower where it’ll catch some splashes, but not directly under the full stream. Then enjoy the smell as it dissolves.

Just a heads-up: shower steamers aren’t soap, so don’t use them to wash or rub them on your skin.

ORDERS

How long does it take to process my order?
We usually get orders ready within 1 to 2 working days.

If your item isn’t ready-made when you order, we’ll make it fresh just for you. Please allow up to 2 extra working days for that.

Things can get a little busy around markets, launches and big orders, so timing may vary. If there’s ever a delay, we’ll let you know.

What if something is out of stock?
Here’s the cool part: you can still order it! If we don’t have one ready on the shelf, we’ll whip it up for you. Just allow up to 2 extra working days for us to make it.

Do you do bulk or party orders?
Absolutely! 🎉

We can help with bulk orders for birthdays, party packs, events, school functions, corporate gifts and other special occasions, subject to availability.

For bigger orders, please get in touch early so we can chat about quantities, products and how long we’ll need.

Can I order a custom colour or design?
Sometimes! It depends on the quantity, ingredients, moulds and our production schedule. Please contact us before placing a big custom order so we can check what’s possible.

DELIVERY & COLLECTION

How do you deliver?
We send our fizzy goodies all over South Africa with PUDO:

• PUDO locker-to-locker: R80
• PUDO door delivery: R130
• Free delivery on orders over R500 🎁
• Free local collection in Sinoville, Pretoria, by prior arrangement

How long does delivery take?
PUDO deliveries take 3 to 5 business days after your order has been dispatched, so remember to add our processing time on top. Local collections are usually ready within 1 to 2 business days.

Can I collect my order?
Yes! Collection is free in Sinoville, Pretoria, but only by prior arrangement. Please don’t arrive without a confirmed collection time, as we can only hand over orders that have been arranged in advance.

RETURNS & PROBLEMS

Can I return or exchange my order?
Because our products are handmade personal-care items, we can’t accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered, unless something has gone wrong.

If you receive the wrong item, or something arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the problem, and we’ll help sort it out.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Oh no! Please let us know as soon as possible. Send us your order number with clear photos of the damaged product and packaging, and we’ll take it from there.

What if something is missing from my order?
Check your order against your confirmation email, and if anything’s missing, give us a shout. We’ll look into it and help as quickly as we can.

Is Little Bombs a family business?
Little Bombs is Caitlyn’s business, and she’s the boss! 👑

As our Little CEO, Caitlyn is growing her own business one bath bomb at a time. Mom and Dad help with the grown-up stuff, like production, admin, online orders, deliveries and supervision.

The goal isn’t just selling bath bombs. It’s giving Caitlyn the chance to learn real business skills while building something that’s truly hers.
